Don’t look a Gift Horse in the mouth

Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers are undoubtedly one of the most exciting live bands around. They really know how to put on a show and have a really entertaining stage shows. They’ll pull people up on stage to sing to just as often as they’ll jump into the crowd to play acoustically.

Ofcourse it is difficult to capture that type of energy on a CD recording, and you’ll hardly feel the same frenzy when you’re sat on the sofa that you’ll feel in the middle of a packed crowd. So the Ironbath is looking forward to the SK6ers new album ‘Gift Horse’.

You can download a sampler at Noisetrade of 6 tracks including 2 from the new album: ‘Gravity’ and ‘Roots and Wings’. The Ironbath can clearly imagine the former track being played at a SK6ers show. It even has the solo breaks where the band will choreograph their on stage antics.

If you need a reminder at just how good the SK6ers are then take a look at this video from Ships & Dips earlier this year.
